This certificate was presented to Steve Schofield for participating in and completing an LTE RBS 6000 Installation and Integration training course on October 26, 2011. The course was managed by LDO ITAC Manager Nick Carter.
CGC worked on two network engineering projects in Qatar from 2012-2015. The first was implementing and configuring the core IP network for the QP Ras Laffan Emergency & Safety College, including configuring switches and routers to provide data, IP telephony, CCTV, and BMS. The second project involved serving as a senior network engineer for Alkhaliji Bank, maintaining and troubleshooting their DC and DR networks, implementing routers, switches and firewalls, configuring routing protocols and VLANs, integrating new branches and ATMs, and troubleshooting technical issues.
Joe Onisick, Principal Engineer, Cisco discusses building the right network and understanding different overlay approaches at Cisco Connect Toronto 2015.
Optimizing your Apps for Emerging Markets Vinay Gaba
In the past few years, Android has grown exponentially, and now more than one billion people use Android devices every month from more than 40,000 different device models. Emerging markets like India,China, Brazil and Indonesia are driving this growth. We need to be able to customize the experiences of these people in order to build amazing products. What works for high-end smartphones won't necessarily work on low end phones which are very common in these emerging markets.
In order to accomplish this, we need to be smart about things like performance, network and data. This talk discusses about the challenges that your users face on feature phones and how to overcome those using some tips and tricks which would make a lot of difference. Also covers some examples of how some popular companies optimize their apps for emerging markets.
The document analyzes data from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education to evaluate the performance of public schools versus charter schools and the impact of resources and academics on student outcomes. It finds that charter schools are not consistently higher performing than public schools. It also finds that resources like qualified teachers, course offerings, and local wealth influence academic performance as measured by SAT scores, which in turn influences graduation rates, plans, absenteeism, and dropout rates. It recommends not increasing the charter school cap, improving teacher standards, increasing funding for resources, and incentivizing attendance.
The document discusses renewable energy sources like solar and wind power. It describes how concentrating solar thermal plants and photovoltaic cells convert sunlight into electricity, and how wind turbines use wind to generate power. It also discusses smart grids, microgrids, and flexible AC transmission systems (FACTS) which help improve power quality and transmission capacity. High-voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission is explained as an alternative to AC transmission for long distance or undersea cables.

Registration & Certification Guide for ZTE Government & Enterprise Overseas C...ZTE Enterprise
This document provides instructions for ZTE channel partners to register and become certified on the ZTE Government & Enterprise website. It outlines a 6 step process to fill out an application form, submit it for approval, agree to terms online, and receive certification. Once certified, partners can download documents, submit deals, check coupons, performance, and engineer exam results.
This document provides details from Arijit Karmakar's industrial training report on working in the blast furnace area of Vizag Steel Plant. It describes the various departments in the blast furnace area, including the stock house, cast house, gas cleaning plant, and others. It discusses the stock house in detail, including how raw materials like iron ore, sinter, coke, and additives are received, stored in bunkers, and sent to the blast furnace according to requirements. It also covers dust control measures like electrostatic precipitators used in the stock house.
This document lists the components of a ZX SDR 8200 BBU including cards like the UBPG, FS, CC, and BPK/BPL cards. It also includes a BB Unit, power and signal cables to connect the BBU to remote radio units and sectors, as well as cables for alarms. The document provides a parts list for a baseband unit.
2 billion people globally have no bank account, but 1 billion of them have a mobile phone. Markets for digital financial services are expanding worldwide.
The document discusses different business models for digital financial services (DFS). It analyzes the bank model using Equity Bank as an example, the mobile network operator (MNO) model using Airtel Money, and the standalone model using bKash. For each model, it examines ownership and control over various parts of the DFS value chain including accounts, data, digital and physical channels. It finds that the bank model has the most control while the MNO model relies on partnerships. The standalone model falls between the two.
