Avnet Technology Solutions Appoints Kedzior Vice President
and General Manager for Services
Avnet Selects IT Industry Executive Steve Kedzior to Drive Services Offerings
Tempe, Ariz. – July XX, 2010 – Avnet Technology Solutions, the solutions distribution leader and
operating group of Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT), announced that Steve Kedzior has joined its Americas’
leadership team as vice president and general manger of services. With more than 25 years of
experience in many areas of the IT industry, Kedzior leads this newly created role and reports to Jeff
Bawol, president, Avnet Technology Solutions, Americas.
In this new position, Kedzior will lead the design and implementation of Avnet TS America’s services
strategy. Kedzior and his team will work closely with Avnet’s value added reseller (VAR) partners to help
them develop data center solutions for an increasingly converged environment by leveraging a vast array
of services and solutions from Avnet. These offerings give partners specific capabilities to meet end
customers’ business’ needs, while also benefitting from the revenue growth and higher margin potential
that services can provide.
Kedzior will work closely with Avnet’s SolutionsPath® offerings in order to successfully train and prepare
partners to sell specific technology into vertical markets. SolutionsPath Services is a portfolio of
professional and managed services that Avnet’s U.S. and Canadian VAR partners can leverage to help
them expand their market specific offerings to meet end-user business needs. SolutionsPath directly
supports the sale and delivery of data center solutions developed within Avnet’s SolutionsPath technology
practices, NetworkPath™, SecurePath™, StoragePath™ and VirtualPath®, and vertical market practices,
GovPath® and HealthPath®.

Most recently, Kedzior served at Insight Enterprises, a provider of IT products and services, where he
built and managed their technology practices which include data center, networking, cloud computing,
enterprise software and lifecycle services. He spent the past five years leading his team to high growth
results while substantially reducing expenses. Prior to Insight, Kedzior was in similar roles with Keane,
Inc., a $700m international software services company, as well as several US-based resellers.
