Based on Respectable Sins by Jerry Bridges, this lesson outlines seven general directions for dealing with sin. While specific sins will be addressed in future lessons, these general directions apply to dealing with any and all sin in our lives.
The stressors of life, sin, guilt, shame, condemnation, unworthiness, discontentment and things of similar nature cause deep unrest in our souls. Jesus Christ offers rest to those who are tired, a kind of inner rest that cannot be found elsewhere. He taught us how to walk in this rest.

One day when a certain man who wavered often and anxiously between hope and fear was struck with sadness, he knelt in humble prayer before the altar of a church.
While meditating on these things, he said: “Oh if I but knew whether I should persevere9 to the end!” Instantly he heard within the divine answer: “If you knew this, what would you do? Do now what you would do then and you will be quite secure.”
Immediately consoled and comforted, he resigned himself to the divine will and the anxious uncertainty ceased. His curiosity no longer sought to know what the future held for him, and he tried instead to find the perfect, the acceptable will of God in the beginning and end of every good work.
Thoughts helpful in the life of the soul from Book I – The Imitation of Christ.
The life of a good religious ought to abound in every virtue so that he is interiorly what to others he appears to be.
With good reason there ought to be much more within than appears on the outside, for He who sees within is God, Whom we ought to reverence most highly wherever we are and in Whose sight we ought to walk pure as the angels.
As our intention is, so will be our progress; and he who desires perfection must be very diligent.
10 Ways to Overcome Our Daily Struggles, A Guide For Christian WomenBrenda Silveira
Life is hard and many of us focus on our problems instead of trying to find solutions. Women especially struggle because the world puts high expectations on us and tries to make us believe the lie that we aren't good enough and our problems define who we are. When we put our focus on God and allow Him to help us, we can overcome our struggles and find peace despite our circumstances.
Emotions operate on many levels, physical and mental, and they bridge thought, feeling, and action ; they affect many aspects of a person our lives. Emotions round us out, as we are more than our thoughts, perception, reason, or memories. Understanding and identifying emotions so we can express them effectively is key to a healthy life.
Rediscovering your purpose brings satisfaction.
(Fulfillment, Pleasure,& Happiness) Purpose tries to answer the question “why am I here”

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

The Chakra System in our body - A Portal to Interdimensional Consciousness.pptxBharat Technology
each chakra is studied in greater detail, several steps have been included to
strengthen your personal intention to open each chakra more fully. These are designed
to draw forth the highest benefit for your spiritual growth.
3. 1. Write a simple mission
statement.
2. Manage your time
3. Stay focus with clear steps
in mind
4. Have an accountability
partner.
4. Growing through
Unity in the Body.
Three dimensional
unity.
The human body,
The church,
The family
5. • Jeremiah 1:5
"Before I formed you in
the womb I knew you,
And before you were born
I consecrated you; I have
appointed you a prophet to
the nations."
• Psalms 139:14
• I WILL give thanks to
You, for I am fearfully
and wonderfully made;
Wonderful are Your
works, And my soul
knows it very well.
6. The Human Body Systems
Although viewed as
whole, the human body is
actually made up of ten
different systems.
Each of these systems
plays a vital part in the
health and well being of
the entire body.
1. Integumentary System
2. Skeletal System
3. Muscular System
4. Digestive System
5. Circulatory System
6. Respiratory System
7. Nervous System
8. Excretory System
9. Endocrine System
10. Reproductive System
7. In the Church
.
Unity does not imply
uniformity. It does not mean
that all Christians WILL
think alike or perform
identical ministries.
• It does imply a common
purpose and
interdependence within
the body of Christ.
8. 3. The family:
• Play, pray plan and eat
together to preserve
unity.
9. One of the worst mistakes we
make in the family is
• “we fail to prepare our
children for their future”
• Psalm 127:4-
• As arrows are in the hand of
a mighty man; so are
children of the youth
10. Children, obey YOUR
parents in the Lord, for
this is right.
Wives, Submit
yourselves unto YOUR
own husbands, as unto
the Lord.
.
Husbands, love your
wives, even as Christ
also loved the church,
and gave himself for it;
11. For all our days have passed away in Your
wrath;
We finish our years like a sigh.
10 The days of our lives are seventy years;
And if by reason of strength they are eighty
years,
Yet their boast is only labor and sorrow;
For it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
12. 11 Who knows the power of Your anger?
For as the fear of You, so is Your wrath.
12 So teach us to number our days,
That we may gain a heart of wisdom.
14. A personal mission
statement provides
clarity and gives
you a sense of
purpose. It defines
who you are and
how you will live.
15. • For help check
online for “The
Five-Step Plan
for Creating
Personal
Mission
Statements”.
16. Time management: is the act or process
of planning and exercising conscious
control over the amount of time spent
on specific activities, especially to
increase effectiveness, efficiency or
productivity.
17. Some of our priorities should be:
Time for prayer & the word, rest,
exercise, family, work, me time,
social and personal development.
18. Time management,
whether it’s
Christian or not, is
not about
doing more things –
it’s about doing
the right things.
Integrity is doing
the right thing
when no one is
watching.
19. It’s about taking a step back and asking yourself:
“What is the purpose of my life?”
“What do I want my life to look like in 20 years? In 5
years? In 2 years?”
“What goals do I need to set to reach this
outcome?”
“What actions do I need to take to meet my goals?”
20.
21.
22. writing things
down, prioritizing
(separating the
urgent from the
important),
put time on items
you write down,
• learn to say no.
• Be discipline and
consistent,
• Do not procrastinate.
• Set alarms,
• Eliminate distractions
(time killers) (phone,
social media and
procrastination).
23. Balance is the word! • Spiritual
• Physical
• Mental
• Emotional
• Social
• Rest
• Diet
24. 13 No temptation has overtaken you
except such as is common to man; but
God is faithful, who will not allow you
to be tempted beyond what you are able,
but with the temptation will also make
the way of escape, that you may be able
to bear it.
28. Having an
accountability
partner can be
your spouse or a
trusted friend.
• Accountability
partner will help
you when trying to
overcome specific
sins or to grow
spiritually mature
in certain areas.
