Stephen Emmanuel presents a handover report as the outgoing Prayer Secretary of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department at Kaduna Polytechnic. Introduction:
Stephen Emmanuel, a Prayer Secretary of Christ Jesus, not by works nor by ability but by grace,
to Gods holy people in Electrical and Electronics Engineering department, the faithful in Christ Jesus;
grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Praise be to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the Heavenly realms with
every spiritual blessing in Christ Jesus for He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy
and blameless in His sight. In love He predestined us for adoption to sonship and service through Jesus
Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and WILL, that we might show forth His glory in Love and service
to the praise of his glorious grace, which He has freely given us in the one He loves.
The entire Executives/officials of Electrical and electronics engineering department 2015/2016
including myself was inaugurated into office on the 12th July, 2015 with series of prayers by the entire
body of the FCS at the Chapel of Victory (Gods base of Operation), at the department and also at the
NIGHT OF CONCENCRATION at HARVESTERS FOR CHRIST CHURCH at Barnawa, Kaduna, Nigeria.
THE OFFICE OF THE PRAYER SECRETARY; ROLES AND DUTY CALLS
1. He oversees all prayer sections of the departmental meetings either taking it or prayerfully
appointing some else to take a prayer section.
2. He takes charge of the opening prayers and the intercessory prayers or appoints someone else
to do so as the Spirit leads.
3. He is the primary Intercessor of the department; the engine room of the department; always
praying and never giving up on any issues whether physically, spiritually, financially, health
wise, terrible situations and otherwise.
4. He oversees the weekly intercessory prayers of which for this department is on Mondays
12:30pm – 1:30pm. NB: as the spirit leads.
5. He must prepare prayerfully and take full charge of the Exams Success Prayers which is
mandatory during examination periods at the department by 7:00am – 7:30am daily, the
exams success prayers at the main house notwithstanding, with him being in full
participation.
6. He sees the harm of the devils plots over the house or any member of the fellowship and
immediately goes to his knees and if need be, inform the house or the individual for cooperate
prayers.
7. He organizes prayer retreats for the department in collaboration with the President, Vise,
Secretary and Organizing Secretary for the growth and dominion of the fellowship over every
forces of the enemy.
8. He is fully subjected to and works side by side with the Unit Prayer Secretary (main campus)
and the Prayer General (at central house) which will advance his impact at the departmental
and Unit level and as God wills even at the Central level.

2. 9. He is mandated to participate fully in ALL EXCOS and PRAYER SECRETARIES RETREATS for his
massive spiritual growth, creating a firm Spirit of unity, stability and high sensitivity in the Holy
Ghost.
10. Full participation and identification with fellow Prayer Secretaries in the MISSION FIELD.
11. Leading in Court Prayers as Occasion demands; 9:00pm – 10:00pm daily excluding Sundays.

After being appointed into office, I was still working while Schooling at the same time, but the God of all
grace spoke to me in a night vision, through his word and also audibly in a broad day light to stop the
job I was doing and relocate to the Hostel to serve Him full time while in Campus. For the decision to
finally obey I have God alone to thank for sending Peter James Obeya; the P.R.O 2 of the department
and David Ogwuche; Prayer General (at main house) to be of encouragement to me saying, “if God has
instructed you to do so, He will take care of your needs for when He sends He provides all things needed
to get the job done and also goes with you”. (when he sent the disciples without purse nor scrip they
lacked nothing).
I resumed the Hostel and started serving God full time when I knew that He called me to make
me in the midst of my studies and the Lord took away every distraction on my way and the relationship
I was also into he took. Helping me in my academics, I had full time to develop on my Spiritual life
moving greatly into diverse depths in the realm of the spirit. To achieve this, I took full advantage of the
FCS Library, Dominion Book Store and engaged myself in full participation in Court prayers everyday by
9:00pm – 10:00pm except Sundays. in the course of all these I came in contact with;

Who have taken their time energy, virtues and resources to be primary INSTRUCTORS and HELPERS to
help me achieve the minimum that I have been able to accomplish in office.
I return all the glory to God for the live of Ejeh lace; 2015 Vise president EEED, Michael
Olayinka; 2015president FCS EEED, Hosea Peter; 2015 Evangelism Secretary, Gracious Gentle; 2015
Assistant Usher, Racheal; 2015 welfare Secretary, and Obeya James Peter; 2015 Assistant P.R.O. who
have worked side by side with me to see as many of this MISSIONS come to life.
Departmental retreat was conducted at the beginning of the semesters we spent in office in office and
also, ALL NIGHT prayers with fasting and also the mystery of the anointing oil was engaged to conquer
the department for Jesus, and dramatically, our attendance grew to about three (3) times its initial
attendance. By continual prayers and supplication and spiritual strategies, the meetings are no more
normal but highly spiritually progressive on a weekly basis. During the display of the Banners, having
heard about series of missing FCS banners from our predecessors, Patrick Origbe; general secretary
EEED and I, after praying individually in our rooms, set out the next morning, decreed over the banner
and displayed it and it stayed all through our stay in office to the glory of God. I always subjected
myself to the instruction and call to duty by the general prayer secretary and the unit prayer secretary
for maximum service delivery with God assisting. All this work I have brought to light to the Glory of
God in whose strengths in Christ Jesus have they been made manifest.
All in all, of these put together have no match with the greater works that the mighty Lord has
wrought in my life, family and increase in the realm of the Spirit, and in the Spirit of Obedience and
divine dealing to the glory of God the Father Amen.
CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATION:
I urge you therefore my dear Successor to work in Love which comes from a pure heart and a good
conscience, and a sincere faith from which some having swerved have turned aside unto meaningless
talk. Desiring to be Teachers of the Law, understanding neither what they say nor therefore where they
affirm. (1Tim.1:5-7) but give yourself to the service of the Lord and His CALL in your life, for blessed is
the servant whom the Master giveth charge over other servants to give them meat and drink in dew
season and cometh back a find that servant doing His duty. He shall bless Him and give him a better
kingdom to rule over and serve.
I therefore recommend you to the following retreat manuals. Aim higher than I ever did, plan
and strategize better, learn and pray better, and most of all follow instructions from your leader and
the Holy Ghost. Blessed is He that follow the ancient path, he shall rebuild the waste lands.
