This document describes a case involving a 42-year-old male polo player who was treated for a labral tear and impingement in his hip using a bone marrow aspirate concentrate (BMAC) technique. He had moderate arthritis and cysts. He initially rejected surgery and instead received a BMAC injection to try to preserve the joint. Follow up imaging 5 months later still showed an ossified labrum. He later underwent a hip labral reconstruction using stem cells and fascia lata allograft to address the damage from the impingement and cysts.
