Venue Options, Information and Facilities: The Blaauwklippen Room, a thatched Colonial style venue overlooking fertile vineyards, can accommodate a maximum of 120 guests for a Breakfast, Luncheon or Dinner Banquet Function. Should you wish to include a dance floor in your set-up, we can accommodate 100 persons in this venue. We have a ceremony venue (100 Guests) as well as a Buffet Venue which is compulsory for 80+ Guests.
6. Wedding Ceremony: The Wedding Ceremony may be held outside by the swimming pool. See cost page for rates. This rate includes the chairs (no chair cover), and CD player for outside. A PA system is available on request at an additional cost. We can make your wedding a red carpet event. Red carpet available on request at additional cost. The swimming pool area is to be vacated 1,5 hours from start of the ceremony. In the event of rain, we can move the ceremony to De Meester II (if available) at the same cost.

8. Reception: The quoted price includes the set up, staff and Duty Manager to manage the function/wedding. The client is responsible for the Guest Seating Plans, Guest List and Table numbers. For décor purposes, the function facility is available to you on the day of your function from the time pre-arranged and confirmed with the banquet coordinator only. If the venue is available the day before your big day, the decor can be done the day before at no additional cost . Please confirm in advance with the banquet coordinator (Terms and conditions apply) The Hotel will supply white tablecloths with white overlays. The room will be set up according to your specifications and requirements. There are standard ranges of crockery, cutlery, glassware and serviettes for the venue. Should you require other ranges; the cost of hiring will be for your own account. Bar facilities are available, and can be run as you wish: Cash bar, Bar Tab etc. Should the bar be required to stay open for any additional hours (after 24h), this can be arranged at a charge of R600.00 per hour until latest 01H00am. 10 % Service charge on the menu amount will be levied on all Banquets which will cover your waiters and barman(no additional cost).
