A Culture Shift: Research & Development at St Peter’s
Deep change “goes beyond surface structures or procedures
[such as the introduction of a lesson plan] to alter teachers’
beliefs, norms of social interaction and pedagogical
principles.”
Teachers with a deep understanding of the principles of a
reform are better able to respond consistently to new
demands and changing contexts.

R&D ‘Methodologist’(?) to support with developing a formal structure for R&D work and to investigate potential wider links eg University study T&L+ ‘Bloggers’ to ‘bank’ and disseminate resources. To keep agendas alive and to promote T&L conversations / resources. Tweeters ‘horizon scanners’ and seekers /filterers of best practice!
