THE BRIDGE TO STP & NEP
3
The National education policy is reframed to bring significant changes in
the education system to provide more advanced & equitable education to all.
In an education system : Teacher & students collaboration play the major
part.
Teachers are the one who guide, nurture & shape the minds of the future
generation in a healthy way.
To bring a paradigm shift in education, teachers must be provided with
more training to improve the quality & effectiveness of teaching.
The STP allows a teacher to self evaluate & improve their skills & teaching
methods to achieve this goal.

8. NATIONAL EDUCATION POLICY 2020
The purpose of the education system is to develop good human beings capable of
rational thought & action, possessing compassion & empathy, courage & resilience,
scientific temper & creative imagination, with sound ethical moorings & values.
It aims at producing engaged, productive & contributing citizens for building an
equitable, inclusive & plural society as envisaged by our constitution.
It addresses many growing developmental imperatives of our country.
NEP is based on the principle that education must develop not only cognitive
capacities- both the ‘ foundational capacities’ of literacy and numeracy and ‘ higher-
order’ cognitive capacities, such as critical thinking and problem solving – but also
social, ethical, and emotional capacities & dispositions.
