The light in this shot coming in from the right shines on the artist in a sophisticated soft way, it also shows her natural beauty. The use of the mise-en-scene (costumes, location, hair and makeup and props) help set the theme of the music video.

Also within this music video intertexuality is involved, in this case its referencing Alice In Wonderland at the tea party scene, this also sets the music video into some sort of dreamlike fantasy world.
