Star Wars: The Force Unleashed was developed by multiple studios for various platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, Wii and mobile phones. It was marketed through trailers, magazines, websites and toys. The game was distributed on those platforms but did not feature multiplayer gameplay, which LucasArts planned to include in the upcoming Star Wars: The Old Republic MMO.
