A group of dedicated educators in a school district have banded together to assess how technology is used in education and balance its role, as some older teachers want to ban cell phones and technology. The educators surveyed all teachers in the district about their use of technology for several school years. While they found distance learning can be effective, they also discovered issues with faulty infrastructure that must be addressed to avoid falling to the dark side.
