When should we multiply? - We should multiply when we need to add the same number multiple times. - To multiply two digit numbers, we multiply each digit of the top number by each digit of the bottom number and add the results, placing them in the correct columns. - For example, to multiply 534 by 46, we multiply each digit in 534 by 6 and 4, placing the results in columns and adding them up to get 24564.
