St. Peter was born in Bethsaida in the First Century and died in Rome in 64 or 67 AD. He was originally named Simon and was one of Jesus' twelve Apostles. As the first Apostle, St. Peter performed miracles like healing a paralyzed man and is the patron saint of fishermen.
