3.  SSC conducts exam at higher secondary level for the recruitment of Group C
posts of Data Entry Operator in Pay Band-1, and Lower division Clerk in Pay
Band-1 in various Central Government ministries/departments/offices.
Minimum qualification for this exam is (10+2) from any recognized university
or board. Applicants between the age of 18-27 and of Indian origin can apply
for this exam.
 SSC exam conducted in three tiers.
 Tier 1(Prelims)- Consists of Maths, Reasoning, English and General Knowledge.
It comprises of 200 marks.
