Theraflu set out to make a positive impression on airport passengers by targeting key airports close to their target markets. An airport marketing agency created an engaging 45-day sampling campaign at Boston Logan airport during the holiday season, where brand ambassadors distributed over 158,300 Theraflu samples to arriving and departing passengers, surpassing their 150,000 sample goal. The successful program increased Theraflu's brand awareness through 4.5 million exposures and gained recognition and positive regard from passengers, crews, and airport staff.
