 Hannemann與Kett (2010) 針對資料模型方面，
目前存在許多本體可用於建置資料描述的架構，
但是無一個本體可以適用於所有資料。
 圖書館應該專注物件(單一圖書)的描述與控制，
而非一本書的內容(作品、載體)。(Styles, 2009;
Wallis, 2011)
