Mental health has been in the news quite a bit lately. Dozens of U.S. states are currently suing Meta for contributing to the youth mental health crisis by inserting addictive features into their products, while the U.S. Surgeon General is touring the nation to bring awareness to the growing epidemic of loneliness and isolation. The country has endured periods of low national morale, such as in the 1970s when high inflation and the energy crisis worsened public sentiment following the Vietnam War. The current mood, however, feels different. Gallup recently reported that national mental health is at an all-time low, with few bright spots to lift spirits. To better understand how Americans are feeling and their attitudes towards mental health in general, ThinkNow conducted a nationally representative quantitative survey of 1,500 respondents and found some interesting differences among ethnic, age and gender groups. Technology For example, 52% agree that technology and social media have a negative impact on mental health, but when broken out by race, 61% of Whites felt technology had a negative effect, and only 48% of Hispanics thought it did. While technology has helped us keep in touch with friends and family in faraway places, it appears to have degraded our ability to connect in person. Staying connected online is a double-edged sword since the same news feed that brings us pictures of the grandkids and fluffy kittens also feeds us news about the wars in Israel and Ukraine, the dysfunction in Washington, the latest mass shooting and the climate crisis. Hispanics may have a built-in defense against the isolation technology breeds, owing to their large, multigenerational households, strong social support systems, and tendency to use social media to stay connected with relatives abroad. Age and Gender When asked how individuals rate their mental health, men rate it higher than women by 11 percentage points, and Baby Boomers rank it highest at 83%, saying it’s good or excellent vs. 57% of Gen Z saying the same. Gen Z spends the most amount of time on social media, so the notion that social media negatively affects mental health appears to be correlated. Unfortunately, Gen Z is also the generation that’s least comfortable discussing mental health concerns with healthcare professionals. Only 40% of them state they’re comfortable discussing their issues with a professional compared to 60% of Millennials and 65% of Boomers. Race Affects Attitudes As seen in previous research conducted by ThinkNow, Asian Americans lag other groups when it comes to awareness of mental health issues. Twenty-four percent of Asian Americans believe that having a mental health issue is a sign of weakness compared to the 16% average for all groups. Asians are also considerably less likely to be aware of mental health services in their communities (42% vs. 55%) and most likely to seek out information on social media (51% vs. 35%).

2 はじめに ロードバイクの盗難が どれだけ悲しく、悔しいことかを想いながら 1件でもこんなことが減ってほしいと願い 経験と想定を踏まえて ドキュメント化してみました。

4 1.考え方の整理 レース会場って・・・ 自転車レース会場は、とにかく混みこみで、無防備に自転車(以下、ロード)が 置いてあって、みんな選手か関係者にしか見えないですよね。 全国のこういう環境で何台も盗まれているんです!!

5 1.考え方の整理 なので、こんな課題。 なので、盗ろうと思えばきっと簡単なんだと思うんです。 レース会場における、ロードの盗難のポイントは 大きく以下2点に集約されると仮説を立てます。 1.どこから狙われているかわからない。 2.誰が狙っているかわからない。

6 1.考え方の整理 防ぎようがなくね? 普通に考えると、防ぎようがないんです。 でも、少し目先を変えると ヒントが見つかるんじゃないかと思ったのが・・・ 「自分が盗むとしたら、どうやる?」 です。 本気を出すために 「可愛い息子を人質にとられて、犯人から解放条件で レース会場から100万円くらいするロードを盗んで来る」という体で シミュレーションしてみたいと思います。

7 2.あなたなら、どう盗む? 盗む心構え。 まず、最初に ロードを盗むうえで、絶対に守るべき事項があると思います。 ■気づかれないこと →なんとなく怪しい人が居た様な記憶さえ残さないこと。 ■気づかれたら安全に脱出する準備をすること →「間違えました。」といった回答で完全に回避できること。 ■自分が誰なのかを特定されないこと →未遂だとしても、怪しい=次回は無いなので、コレは絶対避けること。 ロード乗りは、ロード愛ゆえに泥棒を殺しかねない。。。

8 2.あなたなら、どう盗む? 盗みのシナリオ 以下のシナリオをもって、速やかに安全に盗みを遂行する。 1.自然に近づく 2.ロードを選定する 3.現場から持ち出す 4.会場から持ち出す(脱出)

9 2.あなたなら、どう盗む? 自然に近づく 以下の感じで「調査→接触」の流れで自然に近づこうと思う。 ■変装でカモフラージュ ・選手の様にゼッケンつける ・運営風にスタッフジャンパーと帽子かぶる ・選手の家族風に普段着の女性を投入 ■ターゲットの持ち主と知り合いを把握する ・注意しないといけない相手を絞り込む。 ■何度か近づいて問題ないかを確認する。 ■イベント中にターゲットのロードがどことどこに置かれるかを把握する。 ・エントリしているカテゴリでタイムスケジュールを確認する。 ■運営等の監視はないか把握する。 ■犯行タイミングを想定する。 ・設営後のまたーりタイム ・レース中のゴタゴタタイム ・レース終了間際の応援タイム ・撤収時の一瞬前のふわっとタイム

10 2.あなたなら、どう盗む? ロードを選定する 以下の感じで、リスク度合いを吟味して選定しようと思う。 ■高いロードを探す ・フレーム、ホイールなどパーツ単位で注視する。 ■なぜかほとんど触られてないロードを探す ・スペアバイクなのか、放置気味なのがいいんじゃないか? ■持ち主が寝ている ・エンデューロなんかで、ローテーション終わりでバテまくって寝てるならチャンスじゃね? 10分は目開けないだろ。 ■一人チームのロード ・監視が弱いから楽勝なんじゃないすかね。トイレに行ったら勝ち。 ■少人数チームでほとんどこっちに気づかない。 ・盛り上がってるのはわかるけど、無防備過ぎるな。いただきます。 ■人通りがそこそこある導線沿いのロード ・持ち主わかってて、サッと持って行けば違和感全然ないな。 ■ラックの立てかけ方が適当なロード ・3回適当だったら、もはや余裕で持って行ける気がする。

11 2.あなたなら、どう盗む? 現場から持ち出す 以下の感じで、ロック無し前提で一瞬で自然に持ち出そうと思う。 ■普通にもっていく ・おすまし顔で。グラサンの下はキョロキョロ。 ■乗って走っていく ・とにかくどの方向でもいいから、すぐに乗れる方に出て、盗んだバイクで走りだす。行く先もわからぬまま。 ■何かを被せて、誰のかわかんなくする。 ・タオルとかちょっとしたものをハンドルとか特徴的な部分に被せることで、同じ車種の他人のと思わせる。 バーテープなどの視覚的な特徴を殺す。持ち主に対して、体をバイクの手前に持ってくる。 ■ホイールを仲間に持って行ってもらう。 ・フレームとホイールをセットで認識できなくする。みんな小心者なのと、まさか自分のがって油断してるから 気づいてもすぐには声かけられまい。 ■近くにケースを置いておいて、すぐに仕舞う。 ・秒殺ですな。これ最強。

12 2.あなたなら、どう盗む? 会場から持ち出す 以下の感じで、自然に持ち出そうと思う。てか、この行程は余裕。 ■乗って走っていく ・自走で帰る的な雰囲気を出して。なんなら少し離れたところで、ウィンドブレーカーを着れば更にわからなくできそう。 ■ケースで車に積み込む ・駐車場までくれば、もう疑う者などいない。車に積む行為自体が極めて自然な行為だからね。 ■分解して別々に積み込む ・フレームとホイールをセットで認識できなくする。ここまでやれば、特にホイールなんかは特定できないだろうから 間違いない! てな感じで、計画は死角無しで進行することだろう。 まさか、こんなに綿密に狙ってるなんて誰も思わないだろうから どこかで隙ができる人が居るに決まっているんだ!

13 3.盗むときの最大のキモは? ■ロックしてない ■ロード以外の事に夢中で気づかない ■少数で行動が読みやすい この計画は下記の条件が揃えば、他はまったく問題ないはずだっ!! これで、本当に盗られてしまうのか!? 次ページより解決編へ。

14 4.その盗み、こう防ぐ。 つまり、キモを潰せば劇的に回避率が上がる!! ■ロックしてない →ロックする! ■ロード以外の事に夢中で気づかない →ロードから目を離さないor見ていると示す! ■少数で行動が読みやすい →多くの人が見ている状況を作る! 詳しくは次ページより解説!!

15 4.その盗み、こう防ぐ。 ロックする。 ロックすることで半分以上が解決でしょ! <ロックするときの注意点> ・ラックとか他の物に“くくる”こと。 →単体で縛っててたら、ヒョイといただきます。 ・フレーム、ホイール2個を“くくる”こと。 →高いホイールだけでもいただきます。 <余談> ・ブースでレンタルロックやると儲かるのに・・・ →1000円レンタルで、返却したら500円返してやるタイプ。 ・ビーコンレンタルサービス。 →大会WEBでスマホから位置のログを確認できる様にしたり。 最近ビーコン小さくて安いから買い切りでもいいかも?

16 4.その盗み、こう防ぐ。 ロードから目を離さないor見ていると示す! 多くの人が見ている状況を作る! 視界の端に置く +
違和感をつくる <違和感はこうして作る> ・「盗難監視中!コレつけて移動してる奴は犯人」というプラカードを ロックで設置する →小型のチェーンロックにくくる感じで本体にくくりつける。けん制感が 尋常じゃないため「猛犬注意」バリに近づきたくない。自分で動かす時は毎回 外すのはだるいけど、超わかりやすい。 ・防犯ブザーをトラップとして仕掛ける →フレームの裏とかに張り付けて、ひもをスポックか地面に置いておいた何か 重しになるものに繋げておくことで、移動させたら大音量で気づく罠。 <余談> ・会場に監視WEBCAMを複数設置 →大会期間に限定して、丸1日会場の定点動画を見られる様にすることで、抑止力になるのでは?

17 5.最後に どうですか、もう完璧に防犯できそうですよね! ここまで見て「面倒くさ」って思った方。あなたはそのうちやられます。 100万のロードを守るために ここまでお届けした内容なんて、余裕でしょ! ロードの盗難の最大の要因は 我々ローディの隙に他ならないわけです。 レース経験があっていろんなロケーションを想定できる人にとっては こんなに簡単に計画できちゃうんです! ちなみに 私は一度ロードを盗まれて、悲しみと憎悪にまみれた日々が本当に 辛かったので、二度とこんな思いはしたくないと思い、どうかみなさんには こんな被害を被らないよう、うまいこと対策してもらいたいです。 ではでは。
