Richard Tibbott, Chairman of Cushman & Wakefield International Advisory Services, presented the top 10 myths about post-industrial regeneration at the Moscow Urban Forum on December 5th 2012. He debunked myths such as regeneration projects can be developed quicker than in cities, normal development finance can deliver success, and the private sector can pay for infrastructure. Tibbott emphasized that regeneration takes longer than expected, requires long-term investment and public-private partnerships, and public intervention is key to fund infrastructure early on.
