1) A seminar was held on February 16, 2012 about using social media like Twitter, Facebook, and Google+ for marketing. Approximately 1,575 people attended in person while another 1,554 watched online. 2) The seminar covered topics like using Facebook for marketing and promoting events. Speakers recommended books on the topics and provided online resources people could reference afterwards. 3) The event was live streamed on Ustream and archived on YouTube for those unable to attend. Slides and materials from the presentations were also made available online for attendees.
