This Alumni/Journalist Program aims at enhancing both
transatlantic exchange and the awareness of Germany
in the American media.
The members of the „Round Table USA“ are using the
opportunity to foster an increased dialogue between
their alumni from the US and Germany, as has proven
to be successful on seminar journeys of this kind
before.
This way the efficiency and sustainability of the
coordination of transatlantic projects can be altered
effectively.

In spite of no legally binding accord, COP15 produced
these success stories:
International recognition of 2 degree target,
Highest visibility for 150 heads of state all focused on
global climate change,
Commitment of $30 billon fast track monies, going up to
$100bn
Increased transparency an goal statement to reduce
emissions and limit global warming
Majority of emitting countries signed up with pledges
