SPONSOR AN INTERN
£5,000
(£4,500 directly to the intern and £500
towards to fund the mentor).
The work opportunities at FilmBath are
profound because we are a small organisation
our interns experience all aspects of running
a film festival as well as gaining managerial,
marketing and production experience.
Here is what our previous three Festival Assistants
have to say about their experiences:
“I had a great four months working as Festival Assistant for the
festival. Each day was varied and I gained fantastic insight into
how a festival works. Working for the festival was a brilliant
experience and I highly recommend it to anyone interested
in film and events: the experience led directly to gaining paid
work for two other, large festivals”
Jessica Cowley
“Working for the festival was one of the most amazing experiences;
I met remarkable people, learned invaluable knowledge and
felt inspired to make change. It tops all of my work experience
(including paid production work). The role also lead directly to a
full time, paid position in a Bath based production company”
Jess Edge
“Working for the festival was a brilliant experience. I loved
meeting and collaborating with the creative, enthusiastic and
passionate team of volunteers to produce a festival. As well as
being a lot of fun, the Festival Assistant work placement gave
me an insight into working in events and helped me secure
my current job in an arts organisation”
