raised $ millions to help severely disadvantaged youth
We run an Art Bursary to support art students wishing
to further their study of art related courses in the UK
We run a prestigious art competition for secondary
school students SAF Students Prize Guernsey 2018
On Guernsey SAF supports local young artists:

well as rewarding individual’s efforts
Your money to where it makes a difference:
All sponsorship of the Sovereign Art Foundation
received locally will be used to build the local Art
Bursary fund with any surplus funds being used to
contribute 50:50 to support charitable initiatives
which align with the Foundation’s objectives locally
and internationally. Unless otherwise specified, all
the costs associated with running the Guernsey
Students Prize competition are borne by the
Sovereign Group.

entries for 2018 with participation from all main
secondary education providers
Exhibits 12 finalist artworks over a 6 week period at Beau
Sejour, Guernsey Airport, Guille Alles Library, Space 10
Has strong media partners driving the public to our
exhibitions
Fosters strong relationships with key players these include
Art for Guernsey, Arts Commission, Culture & Leisure,
Education, Guernsey Tourism, Youth Commission
In 2018 is adding a new level of maturity to the initiative,
this includes engaging new Art Trail in Town through the
key Christmas shopping period

Sponsorship set at the value of plus 25-50% to cover trophy, certificate and
direct contribution to the Sovereign Art Foundation.

Town Art Trail
Companies with retail outlets will house one Finalist artwork instore
and feature as one of the 12 trail stops. Recommended £250
contribution to the Sovereign Art Foundation.

Increased footfall generated in store during the busy Christmas

Contribute logoed items, discount vouchers and information
leaflets to goody bags given out on completion of the challenge.

We are seeking sponsors for each of these public exhibitions taking place at key locations: Beau Sejour; Guernsey Airport and Guille-Allès

Fountain St → North Esplanade → The Pollet → Smith St
Participants can choose between
- a smartphone trail following clues
- a paper trail following clues
- simply using a map to follow the trail
The marketing campaign plans to include: Bus adverts,
Guernsey Press coverage, Island FM talk ups, CITV
Channel Report item, flyers in participating retail
outlets, multiple social media platforms
At weekends and on late night shopping evenings
volunteers will be stationed on the High St and Smith St
showing members of the public the trail completion
