SPIC MACAY is an organization that has promoted Indian classical music and culture to youth for over 30 years, starting with concerts of just 5 people but now organizing performances for over 20 lakh students annually across India, the United States, and Europe. It organizes free concerts, workshops, and other cultural events in schools and colleges to expose students to Indian classical music and culture.

2. Ever since its inception more than 30 years ago SPIC
MACAY has come a long way from organizing a concert of
Dhrupad that had an audience strength of five in IIT Delhi
to organizing concerts not only all over India in several
schools and colleges but also in the States and Europe. Last
year more than 20 lakh students attended SPIC MACAY
concerts across the country. Today SPIC MACAY is an
international movement. SPIC MACAY organizes concerts,
talks, workshops, movie screenings, scholarship schemes,
incentives, conventions, overnight events very frequently in
schools and colleges that are open to all free of cost.
