Students and interventionists use sPens to take notes, complete assignments, and record voices. These notes are then uploaded to individual Evernote accounts where they are identified, sorted, tagged and shared to a central Evernote folder. The central Evernote renames the shared folders, merges notes and saves files in various formats like PDF, PNG and M4A. All files are then stored on a server primarily by date, re-sorted by student, and used for viewing, transcribing, studying, analyzing and anonymizing purposes.
