The document discusses the history and mission of the Special Olympics. It was founded in the 1960s by Eunice Kennedy Shriver to provide sports training and athletic events for people with intellectual disabilities. The Special Olympics aims to improve the lives of participants through physical activity, while also teaching values like courage and perseverance. It has grown significantly over the decades and now offers 35 sports globally with millions of athletes.
China has participated in the Olympics since 1932 and has grown to become a top performer, hosting the 2008 Summer and 2022 Winter Olympics. China aims to maximize their total medal count and has developed a large state-run sports school system to identify and intensely train young athletic children for success. Their focus on results and targeting certain sports has paid off in becoming a leading nation in table tennis, diving, and potentially swimming, but some criticize the human cost of their system and focus on wins over individual growth.
The 2015 Special Olympics World Games will be held in Los Angeles from July 25 to August 2, 2015. With over 6,500 athletes and 2,000 coaches from 165 countries, along with 30,000 volunteers and 500,000 anticipated spectators, it will be the largest sports and humanitarian event in the world in 2015. The Special Olympics aims to promote inclusion for people with intellectual disabilities through sports. A variety of sports competitions will take place at venues throughout Los Angeles.

How to Make a Field Mandatory in Odoo 17Celine George
In Odoo, making a field required can be done through both Python code and XML views. When you set the required attribute to True in Python code, it makes the field required across all views where it's used. Conversely, when you set the required attribute in XML views, it makes the field required only in the context of that particular view.
