Sparkling Apple Cider is made using the Champagne method, which involves two fermentations. Apples are pressed to extract juice, which undergoes first fermentation to create a base wine. Then, sugar and yeast are added to bottles of the base wine to initiate a second fermentation, producing carbon dioxide bubbles. The bottles are aged while being regularly turned. Finally, the bottles undergo processes to remove sediment before corking.
