Spain is located on the Iberian Peninsula in southwestern Europe. It has a population of over 40 million people and Spanish is the main language spoken. The majority of Spaniards are Roman Catholic and the economy relies heavily on industries like tourism and manufacturing. Traditional Spanish culture includes bullfighting, soccer, festivals celebrating local saints, and famous dishes like paella and flan.
