The Farmington Canal Heritage Trail is an 84-mile project connecting New Haven to Northampton, with over 50% of its construction completed. Phase 1 in Southwick, MA is under construction, including a box culvert with automatic traffic lights on Point Grove Road. The estimated cost for the culvert setup is $170,000, and the trail installation by the town will proceed after the high-pressure gas line is buried.
