Diegetic sound comes from visible or implied sources within the story world, such as characters' voices or music from instruments. Non-diegetic sound comes from sources not visible or implied, like added sound effects or mood music. A voiceover is a narration not accompanied by the speaker's image, often used to convey a character's perspective or narrate flashbacks. A sound bridge transitions between scenes by carrying sound from one scene into the next before or after the image changes.

3. Voiceover
A piece of narration in a film, not accompanied by an image of the
speaker.
The Voiceover is often used to give a sense of a character’s subjectivity
or to narrate an event told in flashback.

4. Sound Bridge
Sound bridges can lead in or out of a scene. They can occur at the
beginning of one scene when the sound from the previous scene
carries over briefly before the sound from the new scene begins.
Alternatively, they can occur at the end of a scene, when the sound
from the next scene is heard before the image appears on the screen.
