Song for Zula
Dec 26, 2012 By Komal Feroz     1 Comment      Posted Under: Melomaniac
Achingly beautiful, its sound surpasses the heavens, yes, it is that big. It
seeps into your soul, into your very existence, drills holes in your heart, it
aches.
And finally, defines love at its most vulnerable state.
One wants to keep increasing the volume and drown into its every beat, lose
oneself to where it hurts most. Take a trip to a place that accepts all that is beautiful yet all that is
tragic about love.
Wonder-struck by how such simple words could possibly carry so much weight; an honest human
element is prevalent from the moment the song starts, to the very last beat. The lyrics, the
instruments, the tone of voice, all reflect numbing calmness and the sound of one’s heartbeat –
each aching beat felt.
So get a pair of good headphones, increase the volume to its loudest, until every bone in your body
can feel the beat. Then just sit back and enjoy sinking into a heart-rending piece of art.
