Disciple-Making, according to Greg Ogden requires at least tow major factors: Internalisation and Multiplication. This presentation adds to his ideas with some scripture and illustrative ideas challenging followers of Christ to become, and make, disciples in his image.
This lesson goes over how to be more forgiving and merciful to those around us, even when they are in the wrong. It also encourages us to reflect on ourselves. Both audio and slides can be found together at www.cmcoc.org

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

4. Great Commission Mat 28:18-20
When Jesus came near, he spoke to them. He
said, "All authority in heaven & on earth has
been given to me. So wherever you go, make
disciples of all nations: Baptize them in the
name of the Father, & of the Son, & of the Holy
Spirit. Teach them to do everything I have
commanded you. "And remember that I am
always with you until the end of time."
5. Great Commission Mat 28:18-20
Kaya't habang kayo'y humahayo,
panahon."
6. Great Commission Act 1:8
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit
comes to you. Then you will be my witnesses to
testify about me in Jerusalem, throughout
Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the
earth."
daigdig."
7. Great Commission
• Jerusalem
– scandal they know all the secrets of the
church yet still must be evangelised
• Judea
– homogeneous
• Samaria
– rejected yet willing to know the truth
• ends of the earth / sa dulo ng daigdig
– everyone else, universal not local, for the
world not only a select few
8. Biblical Examples
• Woman at the Well [John 4:2-43]
• Paul in Athens [Acts 17:15-34]
• Peter to Jews in Jerusalem [Acts 2:14-41]
9. From the Story
• What is the Good News in the story? Ano
ba'ng Mabuting Balita sa kuwento nito?
• How is the Good News presented? Paano
ipinahayag ang Mabuting Balita sa kuwento?
• How familiar with the Good News is the
recipient?
• How is the Good News accepted?
10. From the Story
• What is the Good News in the • Woman at the
story? Ano ba'ng Mabuting Well [John 4:2-43]
Balita sa kuwento nito? • Paul in Athens
• How is the Good News [Acts 17:15-34]
presented? Paano ipinahayag • Peter to Jews in
ang Mabuting Balita sa Jerusalem [Acts
kuwento? 2:14-41]
• How familiar with the Good
News is the recipient?
• How is the Good News
accepted?
11. Observations
• There are no race or cultural barriers to the
Good News. Si Jesus ang Tagapagligtas ng
buong mundo. Don't let artificial barriers
hinder evangelism.
• We should not hesitate to acknowledge our
need of help, even if only a drink of water.
Weakness in our physical body is a way of
identifying with others.
Adapted from Robert E. Coleman, The Master's Way of Personal Evangelism
12. Observations
• A conversation is sure to get attention when
we start at the felt needs of the other person.
Explanations can then be related to the focus
of interest.
• The simplest things can be turned into
spiritual object lessons, making truth easier to
grasp. Pwedeng gamitin ang mga simpleng
bagay bilang halimbawa para mas madali
maunawaan ang katotohanan.
Adapted from Robert E. Coleman, The Master's Way of Personal Evangelism
13. Observations
• Listening brings gratitude & affection. It is also
a good way to learn what is on someone's
mind. Paano natin malaman kung anong mga
pangangailangan ng tao kung hindi tayo
nakikinig sa kanila?
• Notice the good qualities in people &
commend them for it. This builds respect for
our witness.
Adapted from Robert E. Coleman, The Master's Way of Personal Evangelism
14. Observations
• One person excited about the Good News is
the best advertisement possible.
• Paul used cultural examples to present the
truth about Jesus. Ginamit ni Pablo ang mga
halimbawa galing sa kanilang kultura para
ipahayag ang Mabuting Balita.
• Sometimes we need to rely on the Holy Spirit
to provide an opportunity to present the Good
News. Paminsan-minsan magbibigay sa ating
ng opportunity para ipahayag ang MB.
Adapted from Robert E. Coleman, The Master's Way of Personal Evangelism
15. Observations
• Sometimes someone's spirituality, even
though wrong, is a good bridge to the truth
• Personal sharing, public forums, or preaching
are all effective ways of presenting the Good
News.
Adapted from Robert E. Coleman, The Master's Way of Personal Evangelism
16. Observations
• Scripture can be used effectively in
presenting the Good News.
• Other religious beliefs can be used effectively
in presenting the Good News.
• Philosophy can be used effectively in
presenting the Good News
• Religious Debate can be used effectively in
presenting the Good News ..
17. Buhay Mo
• How did you first hear the Good News?
• How long did it take for you to accept it?
• What made the Good News good for you?
• What made you make up your mind? ..
18. With whom do you need to share the
Good News?
• How do you know them? Paano mo ba silang
makilala?
• What do they do? Ano ba'ng ginagawa nila?
• Where do they live? Saan sila nakatira?
• What is their biggest need (other than the
need to know Jesus Christ)? Ano ba'ng
pinaka-malaking pangangailangan nila
(bukod sa pagkakilala kay Jesus?)
• How much of our testimony is words? How
much is actions?
19. • How would you share the Good News to
