4. Work-life Balance
Work-life balance describes the relationship between a
person's work and his commitments in the rest of life,
and how they impact on one another.
Work-life balance (WLB) is defined as a state of
equilibrium in which the demands of both a person's job
and personal life are equal.
However, when the demand of job or personal life
increases it creates an imbalanced situation and resulted
in work-life conflict.

6. APPLYING SOFT SKILLS TO WORKPLACE AND
SOCIETY
Important applications of soft skills are as follow -

7. Presentation Skills
Use the soft skills during self-introduction, in curriculum
vitae and during job interview.
Highlight the soft skill while self-introduction, explaining
work experience and efficiency.
Mention one or two of the skills and give specific examples
of instances when those skills demonstrated at work in
curriculum vitae.
During interview, be professional, make eye contact and pay
attention to the questions and answer them fully with full
of confidence.
8. Social Etiquette
Be punctual.
Greet everyone present in social gathering.
Do not smoke, chew gum, or tobacco.
Smile and make eye contacts.
Speak slowly and clearly.
Tone of voice should not be too high.
