NGOs at times lack teachers who can teach music, dance, art and craft, sports etc. Extracurricular activities such as ADM, sports, writing, poetry, debating etc not only help in refreshing the brain but also help in developing creative thinking, learning time management and teamwork. They help in harnessing the inner potential and hidden talents of a child. They help in motivating the child and come out of the shell. They help in grooming the overall personality of the child.
Anantham not only provides teachers who can teach core subjects such as languages, mathematics, science, social studies etc, but also teachers for co-curricular activities, for the overall development and education of the children. The children will thus be able to realize where their passion lies so that they can explore, participate and create a better and more colorful world for themselves.

Darren was a member of Next Steps for a year. He accessed one to one coaching and a range of our courses including work, travel and social skills that together provided a complete, holistic solution. Next Steps supported him to get a paid job, a flat of his own and develop a circle of support so that he no longer uses state services. Darren is now a Speaking Up Trustee.
