Social Control is defined as the way that the norms rules law and structure
of regulate human behaviour

its member .
 Social control has been defined by maclver as the way in which entire social
order coherce and maintain itself .
 To Ogburn and Nimkoff the patterns of pressure that a society exerts
maintain order and established rules is socuial order.
 Mannheim defines social control as the sum of those methods by which a
society tries to influence human behaviour to maintain a given order.
