Gudeg Jogja (Green Jack Fruit Sweet Stew)
Ingredients:
- 5 onions - 10 candlenuts
- 10 garlic cloves - 4 bay Leaves
- 1/2 lb. (250g) green jack fruit - 2-1/2 tsp. (12g) coriander seeds
- 1-1/4 tsp. (6g) cumin - 1/4 cup (62ml) coconut sugar
- 2 cups (500ml) coconut milk - 2 tsp. (30g) tamarind
- 5 cups (1.25l) water - 2 inches bruised galangal
- 2 lb. (1kg) chicken (cut into small pieces with bone)
Instructions:
- First, cut green jack fruit 1 inch thick. Wash and boil until tender.
- Next, ground onions, candle nuts, sauté paste, bay leaves, and galangal until
fragrant.
- Add the chicken pieces, stir fry until chicken changes colour.
- Then, pour 4 cups of water and coconut sugar, bring to a boil.
- Add the green jack fruit and simmer until the chicken and vegetables are tender.
- Finally, add coconut milk 5 minutes before it’s done, bring back to a boil.
Serve hot with rice.
This dish is sweet and usually served with shrimp cracker.

Ghost
Friday in last week holiday, my father and I went to hotel to have
reservation. A receptionist welcomed us friendly. “Can I help you ?” She asked. I
said that I wanted a double room with a bath for one night. Her assistant gave me
the key to room number 42. I took the key and upstairs. A porter helped carry my
cases.
When we found our room. We unlocked the door and opened it. We were
shocked when we show two fat women smoking in the room. We shouted and
banged the door. We thought there were ghosts in our room.
We run away and got back to receptionist room. One of the fat women ran
after me. She was so angry that we were angry.
Then we explained to the receptionist what happened to us. She was very
sorry. She had a mistake. Actually our room was next door, number 41.
We returned to our room and had a rest there. The fat women realized it.

How to Play Snake and Ladder
The things you’ll need :
- Snakes and ladders board
- One marker per player ( for example ; a coin, a plastic piece, a bottle top )
- At least 2 players
Steps :
1. Assemble the materials ( you can see the things you’ll need ).
2. Understand to goal of the game. The aim of the game is to be the first player to reach the
end by moving across the board from square 1 to square 100. You will travel the board
from the base to top right, then left and so on.
3. Commence playing.The first player to roll 1 can enter the board ( sometimes it is 6). Each
subsequent player must also throw a 1 or 6 to enter the board. The dice must be rolled
again to show the number of squares that the player entering the board may move
initially. Place the marker on the appropriate square.
4. Continue playing. You each take a go,the person with the highest amount starts first. The
person with the second highest goes 2nd
