The study tested whether daily text message prompts encouraging relaxation would lower stress levels, and whether descriptive, guided messages were more effective than simple reminders. Twelve participants received either a control message saying "Take a moment to relax" or an intervention message guiding deep breathing and letting go of worries. Both groups reported low stress overall, though the control group was marginally lower on 5 of 7 days. Most participants found the messages helpful, but future studies should account for more variables and tailor interventions based on individual needs.
