further we can say a slum can be;
Highly dense, low-rise, substandard, and unhealthy.
A self-built spontaneous community.
A dangerous place to live.
A self-organizing ecosystem.
Where private investment has outrun public
infrastructure.
Hives of entrepreneurs.

There are 539 settlements
identified as katchiabadis.
There are 50 katchiabadies
spread over an area of
876.19 acres exist on land
not even owned by the
Sindh Government.
MOOSA COLONY is also
included in this list.

Liaquatabad Town The population of this area is around 1.5
Lacs which includes;
25% Bengali migrants
60% Mohajir
5% Punjabi
5% Burmi
5% Pakhton
There are an estimate of 77,500 houses residing there.
