1. Main conclusions:
The majority of our interviewee are women, between 20 and 25 years old and
students, particularly from the Primary Education área. They think that the purpose of the PET
exam is to obtain the university degree, because it is compulsory according to the European
Bologna plan. Even though a high percentage of the interviewee haven't taken the exam yet,
they are preparing themselves for it (Cambridge is the exam that most of them are taking).
Regarding the parts of the exam, most of them think that the most difficult are the
listening and the speaking part, and the reading and writing the easiest ones. They all think
that is quite necessary and, although they consider the Price of the exam a Little bit high , the
ones that have already get the PET level are thinking about taking a higher level exam (the First
certificate or B2). One the one hand the percentage is preparing the exam in an academy and,
on the other hand , a few number of people, the porcentaje are working on it by themselves.
Regarding the English level that they think they have:
· They can have a fluent conversation.
· They can understand the main points of a bassic text.
· They can solve situations that could appear during a trip to a foreign country.
· They can oridyce written texts about known topics.

B1 exam by achieve a university degree but they consider that B1 exam’ s prize is very
expensive as a result of they prefer to go by to be trained to academic of english and nearby
they think better oneself on their level of english.
4. Personal opinion
For starters, any non-academic academic title is always beneficial, but in this
case English standard level still much more, mainly to obtain the university degree. But
there must also be a motivation, for example to travel, to be able to have a
conversation with foreigners or to understand indications, but above all, to be more
likely to be hired in the market since there are currently more options a subject with
knowledge of another language.
