8. STABILITY
 Look at the clips with particular
attention to the
 Patients stability,
 Initially..
 Setting up the starting position
 And then stability THROUGHOUT the
manoeuvre.
 What things can be done to insure stability?
 What about the operators own POSTURE?
 What would you do to feel balanced and in
control throughout the whole manoeuvre?

9. APPLICATORS AND CONTACT
POINTS
 LOOK at the clips with particular attention to
 The Applicators & Contact points used.
 APPLICATOR -is the area of your hand/body
that you place (apply to) on to the patient
 CONTACT POINT- is the area of the Patient
you make contact with
 Can you describe them?
 Do they stay constant?
 Do they change during a manoeuvre ?
 Challenge yourself to describe them with
Anatomical language & references.
