What is SKiILS?
• Science Knowledge in Integrated Learning Skills
( SKiILS) is the Intervention Strategy for the
implementation of Learning Recovery for
Science.
• This is a resource material locally developed in
assessment format (MC) . The content of the
material is a set of basic and integrated process
skills that are applicable from grades 3 to 10.
• This will be the main material to be used in the
conduct of science learning recovery period.

Intervention
How to Expand the Material & Maximize Utilization
During Utilization/Implementation Before Implementation
• Each item has to be expanded. This
means that the teacher will generate
additional questions using the same
stimulus for further engagement.
• Upon receipt of the SKiILS , the teacher will
start to go over the material and begin framing
questions and options using the same stimulus.
• The questions shall be added after the original
questions provided in the material.
Post Utilization • Ways Forward…
• Teacher shall use the SKiILS as
guide/reference in crafting their
formative and summative assessment
to measure high-level cognitive skills
• Establishing the culture of good assessment
practice thru consistent and regular use and
exposure
