In this workshop, I'll lead you through a series of exercises which help you learn to draw good-looking, quick, useful, user interface (UI) sketches, followed by examples of how I use sketching in my projects.
As I've embraced Agile and Lean Startup methods, I've learned to adapt my UX practice so it is more QUICK, VISUAL, COLLABORATIVE and CONTINUOUS. Learning how to quickly sketch screen layouts and user interface (UI) elements helps me think through design problems, communicate ideas to other people, collaborate, and reduce the need for pixel-perfect deliverables.

Unlike 2D animation, you have to create the size, height and width of the animation to give the character a three dimensional view on the screen.
• Knowing your audiences is the most important thing in the field of animation. If you are hired for the creation of 3D animation for the children, then work on the appearances of the character accordingly.
• Do some research on other 3D models to get a fair idea about them and find out why are they famous?
• Be different. If you really want to be a successful animator, then think out of the box and innovate some creative things which will be remembered for years.
Wireframes are a critical starting point to your design. Wireframes help a designers workout complex interactions and cheaply identify challenges. There are holes in the interaction and UI. Keep the sketches loose.
This document provides instructions for creating a scrapbook page by selecting photographs around a theme, adding scrapbook papers and effects, and including 3D elements like drop shadows and embossing. The scrapbook page will be assessed based on its layout, creativity, and use of Photoshop techniques.
This document discusses methods for designing and implementing 3D elements in web design. It notes that while past 3D interfaces have been poor, new technologies like virtual and augmented reality enable richer 3D experiences. The document asks what tools are available for 3D design, recommending Rhino and Illustrator, and what tools can help quickly prototype and implement 3D ideas on the web while avoiding bad 3D designs like pie charts.
Please allow me to introduce myself.
My name is Andrea Accatino, and I am a Designer.
I have been a Graphic Designer for over two years.
During the course of studies (I graduated in Industrial Design and Graphic Design at the Politecnico di Torino in December 2015), I worked as Digital Art Director and graphic designer for Reopla LTD. In this period I was involved in the production of all the stuff that is required for communication through both print and web marketing campaigns.
Since September 2016 I work as Graphic Designer with Eurofiere LTD, a company that deals with the design and construction of exhibition stands. I have therefore been able to observe and learn all the process of design and put into print in large format graphic. In particular, I have dealt with the creation of graphics, of all control parameters for commissioning the press and I followed directly printing process printers.
Now that I have gained experience as a graphic designer, I would like to expand the skills in the activity that most interest me and pushed me to undertake this course of study.
The security of a position with a firm of your success and stability would not only be in my best practical interest, but also serve my desire to concentrate more on my first love, the actual job of industrial design.
As you can see from my portfolio, I worked on projects that required an advanced design concept of skills, industrial design and knowledge of the world of industrial production, as well as a thorough knowledge of all the software tools necessary for a fair presentation of the projects.
This document provides an overview of sketchnoting and resources for learning more. Sketchnoting involves visually representing information from talks or readings using drawings, diagrams and text. It helps with memory retention compared to just listening. The document recommends paper/pencil, tablet apps or stylus for sketchnoting and shares examples from the presenter's own notes. Resources like websites and apps for creating and sharing sketchnotes are also listed. The presenter provides tips that you don't need to be an artist and encourages trying sketchnoting with children's stories.

A Creative Technologies Graduate backed by successful training period as a Graphic designer with first hand experience in Multimedia - Web design, Graphic design seeking full – time opportunities as an Entry Level Creative technologist
Libraries are about discovery. Giving people a safe and comfortable place to dream, think, and create is very important because it gives them a chance to explore various technologies and educational opportunities that they can use to enrich their lives. STEAM education refers to teaching and learning, mostly hands-on, in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics.
Learn in this webinar how St. Petersburg College’s Innovation Lab managed to incorporate the STEAM education framework via their well-received and grant supported Maker Boot Camp. In the first Maker Boot Camp, children between 10 and 14 years old learned video game design, how to build a synthesizer and control sounds/voltage with littleBits, 3D design/printing, robotics, basic circuitry and electronics, virtual reality, creating holograms, and more. In this webinar:
- Understand what it takes to create and manage a collaborative learning space.
- Explore a variety of technologies and tools to help enhance learning.
- Learn how Maker Boot Camp was organized and how it continues to excite people of all ages.
- Realize the importance of partnering with businesses and other organizations.
This document discusses casual journey mapping as a UX design method. It proposes using a free app called UX Recipe to create simple and realistic journey maps based on photos and notes taken from everyday life. The app allows users to capture moments, create original stories, and share journey maps for collaboration, with the goal of making the journey mapping process more efficient and accessible.
The document introduces several free online tools that can be used to enhance a CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) classroom, including tools for mathematics, flashcards, diagrams, mind mapping, spreadsheets, and presentations. It provides links to websites for calculators, flashcards, drawing tools, spreadsheets, and presentation software that can be used to help teachers succeed. Covey says most people look for quick fixes. They see a big success and want to know how he did it, believing (and hoping) they can do the same following a quick bullet list.
But real change, the author says, comes not from the outside in, but from the inside out. And the most fundamental way of changing yourself is through a paradigm shift.
That paradigm shift is a new way of looking at the world. The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People presents an approach to effectiveness based on character and principles.
The first three habits indeed deal with yourself because it all starts with you. The first three habits move you from dependence from the world to the independence of making your own world.
Habits 4, 5 and 6 are about people and relationships. The will move you from independence to interdependence. Such, cooperating to achieve more than you could have by yourself.
The last habit, habit number 7, focuses on continuous growth and improvement.
