This document discusses the Six Thinking Hats method developed by Edward de Bono for structured thinking and discussion. It describes the different colored hats and what each represents: Yellow Hat focuses on optimism and benefits; White Hat deals with information gathering; Red Hat considers feelings and emotions; Black Hat looks at risks and cautions; Green Hat promotes new ideas and creativity; and Blue Hat manages the thinking process. Examples are given of how the hats could be applied to different scenarios.
