What resources does He make available, and what exactly are benefits and rights that accrue to right living? 2.  I identify six broad facets of Christian Living
 I note here that a Christian is a person who
believes in the name of Jesus Christ and in Jesus’
commandment to love one another (1 John 3:23-
24)
 Faith in the name of Jesus Christ addresses our
expected responses to Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
 Love for one another is evidence of the response in our
hearts to Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
 It is this combination that Apostle James refers to as,
“Faith without works is dead.” See James 2:18
 This is exactly what Jesus meant when He declared
(words in brackets mine):
 “By this all we know you are my disciples (by this, all we
know you have faith in me), if you have love, one for
another” – John 13:34-35

Father worthy of glory, honor, praises, and
adoration
 God demonstrates His love for us in that while
we were yet sinners, Christ died for us –

Jesus Christ – Ephesians 1:17
 The love of Jesus Christ must be comprehended and
known in order for us to attain to full maturity –
Ephesians 3:14-19
 Believing in Jesus Christ merely is the start of a
Christian’s journey. We are to go on to acquire the
glory of our Lord Jesus Christ – 2 Thessalonians 2:13-
14

13.  We have a responsibility to walk in the faith that
is rooted and grounded in love – Galatians 5:6,
6:15; Ephesians 3:14-19; John 13:34-35
 Only Christians who perform their
RESPONSIBILITY can operate in the RESOURCES,
BENEFITS, RIGHTS, AUTHORITY, AND POWER that
accrue to FAITH IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST.
