What are some of the interlocking facets of Christian Living?
Jesus demands right living from those who choose to repose faith in Him. What resources does He make available, and what exactly are benefits and rights that accrue to right living?
The 15 slides in this presentation provide themes around which discussions of highlighted questions and more can be centered. Useful for personal meditations on Christian living, for thinking through a sermon series, for series of Bible studies, or for personal spiritual enrichment.

A study on the doctrine of predestination as found in scripture and its many implications for the end time.
This document seeks to look at the scriptural teaching of predestination and where the completion of the purposes of predestination should be expected to be carried out. Clear pinpoint links between predestination, election, justification, sanctification and glorification presented. Prayerful reading required.
Reading time: Approximately 30 minutes.
Predestination is one of the most widely taught doctrines in Calvinism. The biblical understanding of this passage reveals a much deeper underlying principle and a richer store of information than can be imagined.
God want's to do great things for us. A scripture based study into predestination reveals that God wants to glorify us. Allow the scriptures to open the pathway that God desires to bring us on.

Homily: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday 2024.docxJames Knipper
Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…
In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

2. I identify six broad facets of Christian Living
I note here that a Christian is a person who
believes in the name of Jesus Christ and in Jesus’
commandment to love one another (1 John 3:23-
24)
Faith in the name of Jesus Christ addresses our
expected responses to Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
Love for one another is evidence of the response in our
hearts to Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
It is this combination that Apostle James refers to as,
“Faith without works is dead.” See James 2:18
This is exactly what Jesus meant when He declared
(words in brackets mine):
“By this all we know you are my disciples (by this, all we
know you have faith in me), if you have love, one for
another” – John 13:34-35
3. 1) Resources made available to us in Jesus
Christ
2) Benefits made available to us in Jesus
Christ
3) Rights made available to us in Jesus Christ
4) Authority made available to us in Jesus
Christ
5) The Power of our membership in the body
of Jesus Christ
6) Our Responsibilities as believers in the
name of Jesus Christ
4. It is a good, good God and Father who never
demands Responsibilities before He provides
Resources, and specifies Benefits, Rights,
Authority, and Power that accrue to
Responsibilities
The Father of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
has demonstrated He is a good, good Father, a
Father worthy of glory, honor, praises, and
adoration
God demonstrates His love for us in that while
we were yet sinners, Christ died for us –
Romans 5:8

JOHN 1:7
7. On the preceding slide, faith is needed for
wielding of truth, the sword of the Spirit,
righteousness, salvation, prayer,
thanksgiving, yet believers still need the
‘shield of faith’.
For explanation and reconciliation, check out
article titled, “Love and the Whole Armor
of God” by the author located on the

11. THE GRACE (POWER) &
KNOWLEDGE AVAILABLE TO
NEW BELIEVERS NEVER IS
GREATER THAN GRACE
ALREADY ACQUIRED IN
REALITY FROM FATHER, SON,
AND HOLY SPIRIT- EPHESIANS
4:7-16; 3:14-21; 2 PETER
3:17-18
SINCE JESUS NOW IS IN HEAVEN, WE
ARE THE BODY OF CHRIST TO
UNBELIEVERS. NEW BELIEVERS

COLLECTIIVELY, WE ARE THE
BODY OF CHRIST AND MUST BE IN
SUBMISSION TO OUR LORD AND
SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST –
EPHESIANS 4:12; 5:23-24
12. Eternal life comes from knowing Father and Son not
just from believing – John 17:3
If we do not acquire spiritual knowledge, we can be
ineffective in our walk with Jesus Christ – 2 Peter
1:5,8-9
We need wisdom and revelation for recognition of
Jesus Christ – Ephesians 1:17
The love of Jesus Christ must be comprehended and
known in order for us to attain to full maturity –
Ephesians 3:14-19
Believing in Jesus Christ merely is the start of a
Christian’s journey. We are to go on to acquire the
glory of our Lord Jesus Christ – 2 Thessalonians 2:13-
14
13. We have a responsibility to walk in the faith that
is rooted and grounded in love – Galatians 5:6,
6:15; Ephesians 3:14-19; John 13:34-35
Only Christians who perform their
RESPONSIBILITY can operate in the RESOURCES,
BENEFITS, RIGHTS, AUTHORITY, AND POWER that
accrue to FAITH IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST.

responsibilities as believers, pick up a copy of

14. It is fitting to end with the following
beautiful prayer in 1 Thessalonians 3:12-13
“And may the Lord make you increase and
abound in love to one another and to all,
just as we do to you, so that He may
establish your hearts blameless in holiness
before our God and Father at the coming of
our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.”
