As a robust and accurate portable gas
detector, the Personal Surveyor (PS200 Series)
provides unrivalled protection in confined space
applications with audible and visual alarms in the
event of exposure to flammable or toxic gases.
Detecting and displaying up to 4 gases simultaneously,

Pre-entry checking can be carried out with the internal

SOLAS regulation XI-1/7
With the SOLAS guideline XI-11/7 from 2014,
the IMO brought a mandatory regulation for the
existence of gas detectors on the way.
According to the regulation, it is mandatory that all
ships for the entering of enclosed rooms and for
emergency exercises must have a gas detector
on board from July 2016.
The technical requirements for the
gas detectors are specified in this
directive. The PS200 complies
with all requirements
