Navratri is a time for deep meditation and rejuvenation when the moon is centered. Yagnas or Homas are fire rituals performed during Navratri to enhance the benefits of individual spiritual practices. Yagnas purify the environment on physical, subtle, and consciousness levels through the use of mantras, yantras, and the five elements. When performed in groups, Yagnas multiply positive effects and accelerate spiritual evolution through increased group consciousness. The science behind Yagnas involves using specific geometrical diagrams called yantras to activate purifying energies in the atmosphere through sounds and rituals along with the five elements.

Yantras are spiritual conductors of cosmic energy that should be worshipped daily. They help us to bring about the desired effects in a quicker manner. However, since the cosmos(universe) works on the principle of cause and effect, only if karma permits, only then one can enjoy the full destined fruits. Otherwise, one has to work out the due karma stored from the past birth. However, yantras emits positive energies that shape one’s thought patterns thereby improving the life for the better and elevating it to another level.
Gayatri--the mother of Vedas and Gods--English translation of the Twelfth Par...debkumar_lahiri
This is Twelfth part of the Third chapter of Chandogya Upanishad in English with the original texts, meanings, etymology and inner meanings.
In this part of the Upanishads, in the background of the goddess Gayatri, it has been described how the divinity and the physical universe are held in the Universal Consciousness who has created the three fundamental spaces.
Gayatri, who is the mother of gods, has been identified with Vaak. The entire universe is created from Vaak or from the words of the Consciousness.
There are two fundamental directions or two fundamental space; internal and external, internal sky and external sky. Upanishad has said that these two spaces are the same. These two spaces are controlled by a third space called antara hridaya aakaasha or also mentioned as dahara aakaasha elsewhere in Upanishad.
The seers have stated that they have seen the creation and annihilation of universe from this third space.

Vastu shastra (Hindi: वास्तु शास्त्र, vāstu śāstra – literally "science of architecture"[2]) is a traditional Indian system of architecture[3][4] based on ancient texts that describe principles of design, layout, measurements, ground preparation, space arrangement, and spatial geometry.[5] The designs aim to integrate architecture with nature, the relative functions of various parts of the structure, and ancient beliefs utilising geometric patterns (yantra), symmetry, and directional alignments.[6][7]
Traditional Kerala Temple
Vastu Shastra are the textual part of Vastu Vidya - the broader knowledge about architecture and design theories from ancient India.[8] Vastu Vidya is a collection of ideas and concepts, with or without the support of layout diagrams, that are not rigid. Rather, these ideas and concepts are models for the organisation of space and form within a building or collection of buildings, based on their functions in relation to each other, their usage and the overall fabric of the Vastu.[8] Ancient Vastu Shastra principles include those for the design of Mandir (Hindu temples),[9] and the principles for the design and layout of houses, towns, cities, gardens, roads, water works, shops and other public areas.[5][10][11]
In contemporary India, states Chakrabarti, consultants that include "quacks, priests and astrologers" fueled by greed are marketing pseudoscience and superstition in the name of Vastu-sastras. They have little knowledge of what the historic Vastu-sastra texts actually teach, and they frame it in terms of a "religious tradition", rather than ground it in any "architectural theory" therein.[12]

As you most likely are aware, numerous ways of
advancing great are being and well-being, whether
through diet, meditation, active work, and so on.
Be that as it may, you might have previously
known about Sri Yantra.
A hallowed image, a reflection, a yoga device, an
energy-recuperating instrument, and the Sri Yantra
are these without a moment's delay.
The Sri Yantra is an exceptionally strong and old
meditation instrument.
Its training permits admittance to more significant
levels of cognizance and the improvement of
clairvoyant powers.
This sacrosanct plan, utilized in India for millennia,
is an image of enormous energy.
It is viewed as the most impressive meditation tool
on the planet. It is likewise an incredible asset for
self-awareness.
The Sri Yantra is the portrayal of the state of the
Universe. This sacrosanct image has been used
for millennia in meditation and yoga.
1. Position the yantra so its center is at eye level
and a comfortable distance away. Sit with your
spine straight. Breathe in and out slowly until your
breath flows naturally.
2. Now allow your eyes to see the triangle that
encloses the dot(Bindu). The downward-pointing
triangle represents feminine creative power, while
the upward-facing triangle represents male energy.
3. Allow your vision to expand to include the circles
outside of the triangles. They represent the cycles
of cosmic rhythms. The image of the circle
embodies the notion that time has no beginning
and no end.
4. Bring your awareness to lotus petals outside the
circle. Notice that they are pointing outwards as if
opening. They illustrate the unfolding of our
understanding.
5. The square at the outside of the yantra
represents the material world that our senses
show us and the illusion of separateness via the
well-defined edges and boundaries. At the
periphery of the figure are four T-shaped portals,
or gateways.
Notice that they point toward the interior of the
yantra, the inner spaces of life. They represent our
earthly passage from the external and material to
the internal and sacred.
6. When your awareness begins to shift inward,
close your eyes. Now watch the yantra imprinted in
your mind’s eye, allowing it to gradually guide you
within.
7. Do nothing, and you will find yourself
participating in pure consciousness without the
mind defining it
Welcome to the Program Your Destiny course. In this course, we will be learning the technology of personal transformation, neuroassociative conditioning (NAC) as pioneered by Tony Robbins. NAC is used to deprogram negative neuroassociations that are causing approach avoidance and instead reprogram yourself with positive neuroassociations that lead to being approach automatic. In doing so, you change your destiny, moving towards unlocking the hypersocial self within, the true self free from fear and operating from a place of personal power and love.

Significance of Navratri Yagnas
1. Significance of Navratri Yagnas
Ratri (night) is that which gives peace and rest. Just like we rest at night every day,
in the same way, twice a year, there is a tradition of taking deep rest by going deep
into meditation and rejuvenating our being. And this is usually done during the
Chaitra (March-April) and Ashwin (September-October) months of the lunar
calendar.
The solstice is the time when the moon is at one extreme, but Navratri (nine
nights) is the time when the moon is more centered. That’s when we’re able to go
deeper into meditation and experience deep rest (as the position of the moon has
an impact on our mind). That’s the main theme of Navratri. So, to experience
this rest, the tradition is to perform all the different pujas, Yagnas (Homas), and
spiritual practices, such as meditation and chanting, in honor of the Mother Divine.
To enhance the benefits of the spiritual practices performed by each individual
during Navratri, there is a tradition of performing Yagnas (also called Homas). It is
believed that when we do any practice in a group, the benefits are multiplied and
obtained faster. So when everyone joins together and does meditation, the group
2. consciousness has the power to elevate you faster. So Navratri is the time when
everyone comes together and participates in Yagnas.
What are yagnas?
Yagnas are an ancient science that works on purifying the environment, the
individual, and the subtle level of consciousness. They are done to nullify
negativity, and to create more positivity.
The Divine is nothing but a form of energy. A pure and highly vibrant energy.
Through the technique of a Yagna, this energy (which is highly pure and vibrant) is
brought down from the subtle to the gross using the five elements, Mantras
(chants) and Yantras (diagrams). When this pure energy touches the Earth
element, it has a purifying effect on the physical atmosphere, the subtle
atmosphere and on the people who participate in the Yagna.
A Yagna has three aspects:
Deva Puja (worship): Acknowledging and honoring all the different attributes of the
Divine.
Sangatikarana (unification): Hastening the process of evolution by bringing
together all the elements (Air, Water, Fire, Earth, Ether) of creation.
Dana (to give): Sharing what one has been blessed with.
These three combine to form a Yagna.
There are different Yagnas for health, happiness, progress, removing obstacles in
life, etc. In aYagna, many different things are done in a specifically designated
manner to produce a definite effect.
When groups of people sing devotional songs together, or meditate together, or
chant together, then too it is called a Yagna, as coming together in prayer creates a
field of harmony (sattva), which is similar to the effect of Yagnas, and this is most
needed in the world today.
3. The science behind yagnas
If you open a transistor you will find a circuit diagram on a piece of metal chip. Our
cell phone chips have this too. In the same way, there are certain diagrams which
are there in this universe for energy to move. The ancient people knew this and
they called these diagrams Yantras.
I will give you an example. If you sit in front of a computer and listen to a sound
recording, you see that the sound has produced certain diagrams, isn’t it. In a
computer, the sound produces certain diagrams so that energy moves in specific
patterns. Now these patterns in the ancient times were made into diagrams, which
are called Yantras.
So Yantras are geometrical figures and are a very important part of any Yagna.
When used along with the five elements (Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Ether), through
specific sounds and rituals, they activate certain energies in the atmosphere which
purifies the subtle atmosphere from negative energy and infuses positivity.
People throw negative thoughts and negative emotions and that has to dissolve and
disappear somewhere, and that’s when they use these Yantras (energy diagrams),
Mantras (chants) and Tantras (techniques) in the Yagnas.
