1. The Refactoring Project
In this project, two systems, namely, “Inventory Management System”, and “Banking System”
were analyzed and refactored. Both the systems were designed in C++ and were analyzed for their
structure, speed and maintainability, and then refactored to improve structure and performance.
Responsibilities
Identified the systems for analysis, analyzed the systems and identified the smells.
Studied tools like CppDepend and Understand, and refactored the code smells.
Prepared and reviewed project documentation.

2. iQ An Online Survey System
iQ is an online survey system, aimed to help software engineers, mainly developers, in the field
of open-source development industry, to aid them make better decisions regarding their software.
iQ acts like a tool that helps developers improve their system quality in many aspects, such as,
user interface, performance, choice of platform (web-based, Windows, Linux, etc.), etc.
Responsibilities
Interviewed software developers based on designed survey questionnaire.
Created UML User Model, Domain model, and Affinity diagrams.
Software tools: Java, Microsoft Visio.
3. OBIS: Online Banking and Investment System
Online Banking System works with a web server and a system database. This system performs
all the essential tasks such as, transaction logs, account request, funds transfer, bill payments,
investment purchases, profile update, etc. and is built based on Canada Trust (TD) website.
Responsibilities
Designed the database for the system.
Developed the front end for the system in Microsoft WebMatrix.
Prepared Use Context diagrams, performed verification processes, created a Module test plan,
and tested the system for acceptance test suites.

4. iCare System: An Extension to Current IT Healthcare System
iCare helps in taking the healthcare system to the next level by storing, protecting, transferring
clinical and financial information. It’s a mobile operated system to grant remote disabled patients
the access to immediate medical advice, digital record keeping, data sharing and appointments
booking. It improves administrative effectiveness of the institution by providing an easy medium
of management.
