May 2019 – July 2019 Bangalore, India
• Studied the components of optical communication technology and performed
experiments on optical components, such as characterization and implemen-
tation of those components in an optical link.
• simulation of Mach Zehnder modulator using MATLAB and Optisystems.
• Designed a Mach Zehnder Modulator using OptiBPM and studying it’s imple-
mentation in digital as well as analogue communication systems.
• A novel design optical full adder using MZI was proposed and was submitted
as a research paper in a conference and is still under scrutiny. The proposed
design has the potential to be an important optoelectronic device for the fu-
ture ultra fast telecommunication switching systems.

simulated for proper logical functioning and performance analysis.
Overweight Vehicle Detection using Piezoelectric double

• A system is being developed, in which Piezoelectric strips are used to detect
any overweight vehicle on a weight restricted highway also providing a pos-
sible location of the vehicle by estimation, using average vehicle speed and
time.
