My research question is How does committing crimes affect a person s physical health and do
different crimes affect physical health more or less? It is important to the criminal justice system to
determine how much crime actually affects the health of an offender. Assuming that committing
crimes causes stress to the individual, stress can show negative side effects on the human body that
can be physical or mental. By identifying any health problems created by committing crimes, one
could potentially deter potential criminals. In the criminal justicesystem in the United States, there

Suspect C had a shading of light grey and was also thin. On the other hand, Suspect A s hair had
the similar light brown shading with similar thickness. During the experiment, a possible source of
error occurred when tweezers, used for handling the hair samples, were switched and possibly
contaminated the hairs. The hairs collected could had been switched from its rightful evidence bag,
altering the results.
Conclusion:
If each person s hair has different color and width examined on a microscope then the match found
between the suspect;s hair and crime scene hair must be the same person because each person s
hair has different set of characteristics.This hypothesis had been accepted, after comparing each
suspect hair with each other. Although some had come close to being similar to each other like
Suspect A s hair sample color and Suspect C s hair sample color, Suspect A s hair had a light
shade of brown while Suspect C s hair had a light shade of grey. Even when a person s hair bears
many resemblances to another, there will always be something different about them. This makes
each hair unique so the match between two samples must be the same

chronologically. The exploration begins with the early pioneers of Pan Africanism (20) such as
Prince Hall, Paul Cuffe, Dr. Martin R. Delany, and Fredrick Douglass. While this was an early
stage of Pan Africanism, conflicting views on how to deal the issues of racism and oppression.
Prince Hall and Paul Cuffe believed in the emigration of blacks to Africa. However, Dr. Delany and
Frederick Douglass argued against emigration. Instead, they believed that the United States was
their home, and that they should remain (25). Lemelle notes that Dr. Delany later changed his
attributes, however it is unclear if he changes his views from support of emigration to opposition
to emigration or vice versa. This is not a major weakness; however, it did confuse me as a reader
attempting to understand the beginnings of Pan Africanism. One of the initial major Pan African
events Lemelle introduced was the creation of Sierra Leone s Province of Freedom along with the
