2. Role
1. Lead plant health, safety & environment team and related activities
2. Developing and implementing environmental & Safety compliance systems to meet various regulatory
requirements
3. Liaison with the regulatory agencies like Factory inspector (DISH), State Pollution Control Boards; State
Forest departments; Central Pollution Control Boards; Ministry of Environment and Forest.
4. Designing and conducting various environmental studies like Environmental Impact assessments of
Terrestrial, Marine and Mining areas; Environmental Audits of manufacturing and mining operations.
2. Promote Environment health and safety within an organisation and develop safer and healthier ways of working
3. Inspect workplaces and workplace equipment to ensure they meet SHE regulations and to identify hazards and
risks.
4. Ensure that workplaces conform to organisational procedures and safety & Environment standards.
