Sharon M. Kolb is a professor in the Special Education Department at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2000. Her research and teaching focus on transition services, person-centered planning, and curriculum and instruction for students with cognitive disabilities. She has extensive experience teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses in special education and has coordinated several special education programs. Kolb has also conducted research internationally, collaborating with Umea University in Sweden on topics related to person-centered planning and transition services.
